Why People Suck
People suck and it is true.
Often times we heard people gossiping others, we see people tearing others down publicly, be it criticizing or embarrassing them. They are not hoping for the best of others, they can't accept the fact that there is always someone else out there that are far more superior than they are. Feelings of envy and jealousy arise, dominated their mind, control how they act. People like this suck, and it is true. We can't deny it, because if we do, then we are living in our own delusional world.
They suck, but you don't have to.
It is sad to learn that we can openly tear others down without receiving any punishment. We get to run away from for what we have done to others. Even though our intention might not be to hurt others, but we never know how they feel deep down. Of course someone can lie to you by faking their feelings. How do you even know? We never really bother to even care for others, to take into consideration how one will feel. We acted like we care, but we don't. At all.
The only way we know someone really trusts us is when they are willing to show you the vulnerable side of them. They do because they know you won't judge them, they know they can feel safe in your arms, they know you won't treat them the same like others do. When someone is willing to open up about themselves, that's when you know you earn their trust. They know you are a reliable and trustable person, they feel safe and comfortable around you. Yet people like this ended up hurting themselves, because they are too kind to hurt others.
Who will you choose to be? One that tears other down, or one that earns someone's trust? To be the one that hurt others, or the one that are willing to be hurt?
We shouldn't hurt others, but when we are hurt, we shouldn't constantly live in a state of sorrow too. People can injure us, but they can't get to us without our cooperation. People can belittle you, but you can't belittle yourself.
You have to toughen yourself up, for it is the only formula to survive in a world full of hate, meanness and cruelty.
